Review on GrassWorx 10376623 Flair Astroturf Doormat by Laura Pena

These floor mats are the best on the market. Others (coconut fiber, recycled rubber links, etc.) are pure junk and are for decorative purposes only and do absolutely NOTHING to clean your shoes. And they're too small for French doors, which require two mats in front of each door; Especially if you're like me, in summer you like to open both doors for a nice cool breeze and fresh air. Here in Pac NW I live in an area with no sidewalks, lots of cedar and spruce leaves and needles, gravel, asphalt gravel, dirt and grime; all of which are tracked internally. While my dining table and chairs are by my French doors and I have a policy of "taking my shoes off at the door"; Just say that to the guy who puts his shoes back on at the door and then WALKS through the whole house before finally leaving. OR goes to get firewood, then explains it's too hard to get it back at the door and follows the junk through the dining room and into the living room. The carpets in my living room are constantly deteriorating and need a professional cleaning at least twice a year. Enter "GrassWorx Clean Machine Flair Astroturf Doormat" in "Evergreen". Finally I have a mat that not only thoroughly cleans the soles of my shoes, but what the heck?! It is large enough to create a landing area covering the full width of both French doors before entering (yes!)! My only wish is that it be a different color than the other rugs (I bought a beautiful decorative rug for my only front door); I'm just glad I finally got a large mat for my rear French doors. no more little double rugs sitting next to each other and sliding around! This particular rug is very large, and because it's oversized, it doesn't keep sliding around like the little green ones. Yes, it's simple, medium green and practical; but for me the size makes up for it. Someone complained that it didn't lay flat around the edges after it was rolled up. Trust me it's not forever. You can also put it in the sun to soften the edges. In summary: this rug is HUGE enough for a bunch of kids to stand on and clean their shoes (kids clean shoes? funny!), removes dirt and debris from shoes like no other brand and like little green daisy rugs before it; should give me years of use.
