So I got this for Zoom calls as my face is always in shadow. I have found that the ring light creates a circle of light on your glasses. However, I've been playing around with this and found that if I have a light high above my computer and it's rotated horizontally (parallel to my desk), with the light ring facing up (the black part is down, towards the computer), then it works great. Gives me good light for calls. Other parts required a bit of fiddling - the instructions aren't minimal - but they seem to work well. The phone holders expand to fit an iPhone 5 or a regular iPhone 6 (bigger versions I'm not aware of). I've only tried the remote once, but it works and is easy to set up. with my iphone. Small ring indicator, at first I thought it was broken as it only partially glows red, but turns out that meant it needed charging. After charging it for a few minutes everything was fine. It's still a bit fiddly to figure out the right position for this on the phone, but it seems to work in multiple positions. The ball joints on the phone holders don't move easily, but I managed to get them in place. that should work. So far I'm happy with what I've gotten.
