I followed all the directions to repair a 4 inch windshield crack with mixed results. While the instructions weren't difficult to follow, I remember figuring out how hard to press the applicator against the glass was a bit difficult. So the good news is that the 4 inch crack hasn't gotten bigger. (it's been about 4 months). Stopping the crack from growing was my top priority, so I'm happy about that. The bad news is that the crack is clearly visible after the repair. I was under the impression it was meant to fill in the crack to the point where it would be difficult to see, but it doesn't look much different than before the epoxy was applied. If anything, the crack might look a bit thinner, but it's still pretty noticeable. So functionally this repair kit has served its purpose, but aesthetically there is room for improvement.
