Screw holes line up perfectly. And unlike the old starter, the new starter does exactly what the starter is supposed to do. Even with a new and fully charged battery, the OLD starter just made a loud CLANCH every time I turned the key. After a few tries, nothing but that rattle, the engine finally started. I knew it was only a matter of time so I replaced the starter motor. The problem is solved. While I'm sure some owners will need advice on replacing the solenoid, I think this advice can be a red herring for many, if not most, buyers. If your car's starter motor looks like the picture of this product, just buy it and forget about replacing the magneto separately. The starter and solenoid are sold as a unit (and should probably be replaced as such, even if they weren't). Finally, thanks to Rareelectrical for sending me the correct part the same day I ordered it. I was pleasantly surprised to see that Rareelectrical shipped the starter in two days via USPS, even though I didn't request two-day delivery. USPS delivered it on time and also provided tracking system like UPS and FEDEX which I have never seen before. All in all a very pleasant experience.
