matte finish, it works. used it on my M sport steering wheel (matte nappa leather) and coral red Dakota leather seats from a BMW F36. It leaves no shine or stains, the steering wheel had the same matte finish with no shine, used it on the dashboard which ended up being smooth but with minimal shine, the red paint took on a new look at the end, used the cleaner on the Apply to skin and then apply with the CG Microfiber Applicator. Definitely recommend this product will stick with this brand.
