I am new to crocheting and was very excited when a friend introduced me to chafing yarn. I'm getting married in the fall and we've decided to have a small, intimate wedding with a few close family members. I make little baskets for everyone to put in their room upon arrival including the most commonly forgotten toiletries and such with the idea that I'll make some face scrubs for the baskets for everyone. Well I had a really hard time with this yarn because there were a few stains all over the ball, I had to cut out large sections because the yarn was completely worn out. I guess I just have a bad skein because I bought a few others too and they were fine. It was just a minor disappointment as I felt I didn't get my full money's worth.
