I was a little unsure about making this purchase as I had not heard of the company before and because the price was so low but after much deliberation, I finally made the purchase. First, the price was great and I received the product in just two days. I replaced two separate Asus routers which were very good but the multiple SSID configuration was causing problems for family and guests. These new devices are fast, installation is very quick (literally in a few minutes) and it is quite pleasant to use. Well, to be clear, the Rock Space app doesn't have all the bells and whistles of, say, the ASUS app, but it does have everything most people need. It features Guest Networks, Parental Controls, DHCP, PPPoE, Static IP, and Bridge modes. It also has QoS, fast roaming, port forwarding, and scheduled maintenance. One feature I like is that the app lets you label devices so you know which device is which. Some might find it a downside that you have to use an app on your phone instead of a web browser to set up and manage this mesh network, but I'm fine with that. So for three days everything was fine. By the way, I only have 43 devices online, about 31 active at any given time, no problem. Work laptops for my wife and I, Fire TVs, Smart TVs, Echo Dots, Irrigation System, Garage Door Opener, . Everything is working well. So far I am very satisfied with the product. ***Update*** It's been six months and so far so good. I have many devices on this network and everything works fine. I certainly don't get all the bandwidth coming in from the ISP, but that's to be expected with so many devices. I'm a bit concerned the security is AES PSK which I've been told is deprecated. My iPhone keeps telling me this, but I'm not really worried. What worries me is that I've never received a firmware update since I've had this device and it doesn't seem quite right. I would expect firmware updates for issues related to security, features, etc. I deducted a star for that, so I may be able to upgrade to a different mesh device. But overall it works fine.
