So I was a bit surprised by the size of this case. 9" x 13" x 2.25" You get the picture. Nothing special about the metal, they seem to resist rust longer than the cheaper bare metal pens. The box says they are made in China. The Box has real hinges (plastic) instead of "bent plastic doomed to break" hinges. You can't remove the standoffs, they are a one piece casting of the case. There were about 10 or so 1/8 x 2 "Pins 1/8" x 1.5" and 3/32 x 1.5" and then everyone else. To be honest I find these are the ones I need the most for car use. The placement picture on the bottom of the cap is labeled with the pin size as well as the part number for each pin size and the quantity that comes with that part number I have found it very helpful I can buy in bulk the exact size I need and the boxes are large enough for a full wholesale order each part number. The only negative, my set arrived in a mess. We all had to reorganize. It was weird because even though they came in a jumble, if I close the lid and shake everything around, they don't get jumbled. The compartments are well sealed against each other. They must have been placed in a mixed set. This is a great set to have in store if you use it often. Can they just be better? if the same plastic case was metal with the same graphics and dimensions. But for the price I agree. - 1 for confusion
