FYI before replacing. Unless your chain has been dropped or broken, take a picture before replacing. That way you know how to put it all back together, assuming the bike was put together correctly. If you don't google this information. If you're replacing a chain you previously had, make sure you put both the new and old side by side and use your chain breaker to pull out the extra links you don't need to break the chain open to get the same length. . I had to remove a few links to match the original chain length I had before. Also, both ends of the chain must be "inner links" so that the main link can connect the chain. Don't be afraid to google "bike chain diagram" or "how to replace a bike chain". Even consult #YoutubeUniversity
