Bad o-ring for performance parts and accessories
The o-ring that I received with this filter was bad. My 2015 Macan S started leaking oil from the oil filter housing a few weeks after changing the filter and O-ring. I have since replaced the filter with a Mahle oil filter set and have had no problems. I had no way of accurately measuring the cross-section of the o-ring, but the K&N o-ring was slightly thinner than the o-ring from my Mahle kit.
