Okay, I don't know how to put it, but it does what it's advertised to do, which is cook rice. If you cook rice the old-fashioned way, using your finger and a saucepan, or even an actual rice cooker, it will take longer. With this invention, you can get up and cook rice in the microwave, and does it work? Yes, it actually cooks the rice. But then. You should experiment with how much water you pour into the container to make sure your rice isn't partially hard. I like it because it's faster to clean and cook the rice. However, rice isn't as good as what you cook in a pot or on the stovetop. Small adjustments to the water level and it's getting a lot better, but still not that good. If you've ever put rice in the fridge for storage, you won't be able to tell the difference once it's reheated. So I would say it's enough for those who love rice on the go!
