I've been looking for a good knife for a long time and this knife has become my indispensable helper in the kitchen. I'm not a professional chef but I cook fresh every day and having such a good knife saves me a lot of time and makes cooking easier. It's light but enough to cut easily. It's definitely not too difficult. I love its shape and the way it's packaged! I keep it in a separate case. It came with a sharpener which is good but so far this knife stays so sharp I haven't had to use a sharpener yet. Because of the packaging I think this would be a nice and elegant gift for a friend who loves to cook.
