Review on 🍳 Duxtop 17PC Professional Stainless Steel Induction Cookware Set: Nonstick Ceramic Pan Set with Titanium Coating - Ultimate Kitchen Companion! by Jessica Romero

Forget the non-stick coating!

I really didn't want to give this product 2 stars. The stainless steel pots and pans are truly amazing. The base is thick and heavy, feels good in your hand, easy to clean (if you know how to handle stainless steel cookware), etc. My big gripe and the reason for the 2 stars are the non-stick cookware accessories. I doubted a cook set could offer both quality SS cookware and a pair of good non-stick pans for a perfect finish (I already have a couple of cast iron pans). The main problem was that while the SS cookware was good, the non-stick cookware (copper-colored cookware in the advert) was absolute rubbish. And I don't mean it lightly. The whole point of this set is to have a solid base of good quality stainless steel pans and some good nonstick pans. The last one failed miserably. I am an educated and enthusiastic cook. I have never heated non-stick cookware to below average temperatures. however, it burned out almost immediately. No sugar, no sauces, nothing that would produce a hardened burn as you see in my picture. In fact, this deep, non-shedding burn was caused by simply cooking potato pancakes in high-temp oil (avocado oil) over low, even heat for about 10 minutes. And from that moment it only got worse. And this has happened in other non-stick pans, provided under different but (as it should be) acceptable circumstances. I tried to contact Duxtop but was unable to contact anyone from the company. I have sent a message to the company, the seller and through Revain and no one has replied. It's been 3+ months. save your money Duxtop makes good stainless steel pans, but their overpriced non-stick additions are useless and useless marketing gimmicks. Here's what you need. A set of high quality stainless steel frying pans. This is for your everyday chores of gravies, soups, and braising meat with gravy in a skillet - A cast iron skillet or two. This serves for excellent browning of meat and some vegetables or for long baking. - Cheaper nonstick pan (Tfal is good and cheap) to slow cook things you don't need, use whatever oil you need. other pans so they don't stick (eggs, tender fish, fried rice, etc.). Ironically, my $18 Target Tfal pan is 3 years old and still works perfectly. This POS from Duxtop, which cost several times the price, didn't last a few weeks. Skip this sentence. The non-stick coating you pay extra for is useless and the company lies and has no semblance of customer service.
