Difficult to install

I've put pads on every car I've ever had to change. This is a fairly simple process. In this case, when the pads were in the caliper body, the shims located on the back of the rear pads were difficult to hold in place when attempting to lower the pistons over the pads and into place in the body. Initially, I did not lubricate the pads and seals prior to installation. They squeaked like crazy. I took them off a few weeks later and greased them up and that seemed to quell most of the squeaking but I still hear it from time to time. The front right pads seem to wear out at the very end of the stroke, I'm not sure what that means. I checked the rotors and pads when greasing and didn't see any uneven wear or a worn disc, so I think it's the pad as well. I will not buy them again as I have never had such a bad experience with the pads which I usually buy from my local auto parts store.
