TOO THICK! - Brake system

They didn't fit a 2011 Subaru Forester, the pads were too thick for the caliper when fitted. I barely got them in without spacers, but I couldn't get the wheel to spin. - Yes, I first knocked out the pistons in the caliper body. The problem is that the fixed side of the caliper cannot protrude past the outer pad while the mounting tab clears the floating supports. VERY good quality and packaging. Includes protective pad

Pros
  • Fits me great
Cons
  • Some minor things

best brake pads! in brake pads

I heard about EBC from my friend in Europe, he put them on his Fiat Punto GT but the car had a vibration in the front right. Disassembled, turned front discs, but disassembled the dent again, examined metal pads, brand new, but one of the pads had a hairline crack. I installed the EBC pads after the car's first 50 miles. stops at a dime! I'll change the rear in a few months.

Pros
  • understandable also for the old ones
Cons
  • don't know anymore

Good brake pads in the braking system

EBC brake pads are quite well known in the Subaru community. These are inexpensive pads in the lower end of the range so don't ride them on the track, but for the everyday rider these pads are great. I used them to replace the stock brake pads on a 2008 Subaru Legacy. I could tell that the braking power has increased slightly compared to the standard pads and is a bit stronger. The pads included spacers so I didn't have to reuse the old ones which is a plus. I had to lower my rating by one star

Pros
  • Pleasing
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Information on the complete set WRX 2002-2003, read before you buy!

Anyone looking for this molding for their 2002-2003 Subaru Impreza WRX simply see the information below. UD929 pads fit 2002 WRX models AFTER May 31, 2002. Earlier year WRX models use a different pad, model UD721. Before purchasing, check the sticker on the door frame for the year of manufacture. It all depends on whether you're using "old" or "new" calipers. I have an older model year, so I bought them by accident. Also, check your calipers before you buy them. If you have two round "holes" in

Difficult to install

I've put pads on every car I've ever had to change. This is a fairly simple process. In this case, when the pads were in the caliper body, the shims located on the back of the rear pads were difficult to hold in place when attempting to lower the pistons over the pads and into place in the body. Initially, I did not lubricate the pads and seals prior to installation. They squeaked like crazy. I took them off a few weeks later and greased them up and that seemed to quell most of the squeaking…

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Null

Great brake pads! best parts

Well, sooner or later it was bound to happen, the brake pads on my 2006 Forester were worn out and the car jerked when I braked on the freeway. It's time to change my brakes. The naturally aspirated 'Fozz', as it is affectionately known, is not a high-performance car and I am not a racer. So basically I wanted a set of brake pads that had a solid reputation for build quality, durability and everyday rider performance without breaking the bank. I bought EBC Ultimax brake pads for the front and a
