Review on Pedal Commander - PC38: Ultimate Throttle Response Controller for Toyota Tacoma (2nd & 3rd Gen), all Models (2005 and newer) by Tommy Russo

Amazing difference from my Tacoma!

I had a 2013 Tacoma 4.0L 5 speed auto. He worked great. I traded it in for a 2016 Tacoma 3.5L 6 speed auto. This was also the first year for an electronically controlled accelerator pedal, meaning the pedal is not mechanically linked to the engine. It is connected to a sensor that sends signals to the computer about acceleration, coasting, etc. Tacoma's latency is very poor, with a lot of lag. I personally found this delay extremely dangerous! I purchased Pedal Commander and installed it as directed. You disconnect the computer cable from the pedal and connect the Pedal Commander. Pedal Commander captures the signal from the pedal and immediately sends it to the computer. The difference is amazing, NO DELAY! There are 4 settings: Econo, Street, Sport and Sport+, each with 4 additional levels in each of the 4 settings. I used Street & Sport settings and they really work. I've noticed that the mileage has gone down a bit. But a truck that drives when you want it is worth it! I have about 2500 miles on Pedal Commander and wouldn't consider removing or disabling it. This is a product worth every penny. You can't go wrong with Pedal Commander!
