Easy set up, I took to the beach and was able to set up myself. Comes with 2 carry bags, one for hammock and one for poles. It does have a padding with matching pillow you can use or you can use it without. Very comfortable and stand is very sturdy. You will need to adjust the tension of the hammock as you use it because it will stretch but this is normal. Stand poles are thick and of quality not thin like some stands I have seen. Love it, will recommend
