I have ordered 2 sizes of this spatula. The smaller of the two (triple riveted wide lathe) had rust spots. At first we were very happy with the spatula. My wife wanted to get away from plastic products. The wooden handle is strong enough, not heavy. It all seemed solid and worked well. This paddle has always been hand washed, never washed in the dishwasher. It's only been 8-10 weeks and it's starting to show rust spots. I bought it because of the high ratings here, but this poor quality is unacceptable.
