Light broken in first 2 weeks, wiring can't handle normal rocking. The rope is rough compared to the competition, you'll have to break it so expect blisters if you do. After a few months of use, it started cracking, leaving sharp cracks, and the bottom of the case that houses the batteries is beginning to fall apart. I wait day by day for the baby to finally crack it. However, if you have money left over and want to throw an amazing swing party for the kids, the lights are super cool at night and the kids just want that swing. Different modes, solid or changing colors, smooth. My swing is meant to last, I wanted this swing to last long enough to replace others of the same style, but I can't justify replacing this backlit swing every month just for that effect.
