I really like this thermometer. It looks good floating in my pool and for the most part is easy to read. The reason for only 4 stars is because sometimes when I throw it into the pool it lays on its side and doesn’t get into the vertical position. The other reason is, it uses the water inside the thermometer housing to magnify the numbers so if you have to pull it out of the pool to read it the water drains out of the hole in the bottom. You can put a finger over the hole to keep the water in but on mine the water just runs out around the side of the bottom plug that the hole is in. Not a deal breaker but they should have sealed around the plug so water doesn’t escape.
