Hair gets caught on raised edges) - I ordered this filter trap out of desperation to find something that would work better. I skipped this point previously because I didn't expect there to be room underneath for a pop-up drain that's free to move up and down. I bought it thinking I'd try bending the metal and somehow adjusting it to accommodate the raised pop up drain and keep my hair from sliding around the edges. I was absolutely stunned to discover that this filter fits the drain perfectly, no adjustments needed! I used plumber's putty to attach the rim of the trap filter to the tub. It's been a few weeks now and it's working great. It is very easy to clean and keeps 100% of hair out of the drain. I wish I had tried this before!
