I wasn't sure something at such a low price would work well. But we wanted a second one and this one turned up when we searched. The first positive surprise was the instructions. It is written in correct English and English only. It's also very detailed. It is slightly smaller than our other thermometer. It's much faster. You'll get the result in about a second (2 if it should turn on first). At first I struggled to understand the difference between body temperature and surface temperature. body temperature is what you want. So yes, I am very happy with my purchase. And I'm a healthy 36.5C (you can switch from Fahrenheit to Celsius).
