just received and in the first hour I took the temperature 5 times, all different readings and very sharp, doesn't read accurately.

This thing's battery will run out in minutes. I bought batteries, charged them and after a few minutes they were dead. **UPDATE** I bought Revain "EBL 1100mAh" batteries, they suck, they don't hold a charge. Went to Walmart, bought Duracell batteries and now they work great. Sorry I was wrong.

The thermometer will be needed to check students in class as we prepare for the COVID protocols; This thermometer worked great in the price range! When testing against other wallpapers, it shows "Lo" which means no temperature to scan. Hope this helps catch the fever before it gets in the door!
