Appears to be the only solid 25" wooden ramp that isn't very steep. Obviously it should be longer if it's not cool. My older dog has had problems (he fell and hurt his paw: (recently) with several other types of puppy ladders. They get steep at this height and at the top of the steep angle he can't see well. Recipe for disaster .I knew another set of ladders wouldn't work.I was disappointed that the carpet is slippery on this ramp.You should add masking tape if desired!I bought 80 grit sandpaper,anti-slip tape from Pure Sienna (here (bought from Revain)., and added that. You can see in the picture that I applied a lot of this, probably overkill. It gives the support I need and sticks to the carpet very well. I also have a very inexpensive picket fence added.to serve as a guard rail because my dog is trying to climb onto the platform at an angle and almost lost his balance the first night.I just attached the fence right to the wooden r ampe sent. I won't risk it at this point. With these modifications this is a great ramp for my dog.
