Review on πŸ’‡ REVLON Salon Smooth & Shine Hair Dryer & Styler: The Perfect 2-in-1 Hair Styling Tool by Nathan Hawkins

Revainrating 3 out of 5

No instructions under styling tools and accessories

It was really difficult to rate this product. Came without instructions. There is no Revain product page so I have no idea how much it will cost. The tool is not listed on the Revlon website. I finally received a pdf manual of Helen of Troy but the font is so small it's unreadable when printed. So I just have to give you my opinion based on my observations. The tool works like a flat brush. They have high, low, and cool settings. Dry hair, but very slowly. The motor is at the bottom where the cable is, so it's a bit awkward to hold and turn. The cable wobbles a bit. There is a test/reset button. There is a small reservoir at the base of the brush. It pushes in with no release button, so you can use brute force to detach it. There is a rubber stopper where you add water. I didn't see any mention of using distilled water or tap water. You hold down the "Steam" button for three seconds to release the mist. I haven't seen a fog, but maybe there is. Conclusion: I didn't find any problems, I just don't see any point in the tool. Maybe if you know how to use a flat brush and are in no hurry to dry your hair, you might like it.

Pros
  • Classic flat brush with multi-dimensional bristles for more coverage, better contact, helps to dry, straighten and style all hair types
Cons
  • Periodicity
