One of the best things about this power strip is its downside: lots of outlets. I have a large UPS (1500VA) and most of the things I read on the internet said that you should not use surge protectors on the UPS and go with a conventional power strip instead. This device has many outlets, all arranged at a 90 degree angle. This means that with many power supply units ("sockets") you can only really use a third of the sockets. If this is your situation, I would recommend buying short extension cords (Cable Matters sells 6 packs of 1ft) and hanging the adapters on the extension cord. The cable is long and the device is small enough to install a network switch on the opposite side of the rack at the same level.
