Long cord and lots of outlets, but too close together

One of the best things about this power strip is its downside: lots of outlets. I have a large UPS (1500VA) and most of the things I read on the internet said that you should not use surge protectors on the UPS and go with a conventional power strip instead. This device has many outlets, all arranged at a 90 degree angle. This means that with many power supply units ("sockets") you can only really use a third of the sockets. If this is your situation, I would recommend buying short extension…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • It's OK

Absolutely worth the money. The rack fan that I connected to the safety device I believe shorted out (sparks came from the fan) which disabled the safety device and tripped the circuit breaker. I can turn the protection on, but nothing plugged into it works (even after pressing reset) - the overvoltage and ground indicators are completely off. Still, I used a different surge protector and it certainly didn't damage my gear! I have contacted Cyberpower for a repair/replacement. They immediately…

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Almost never

Good quality and good price, annoying ergonomics

For what you pay it's excellent. However, the use of three different LED colors to indicate the normal operation of various functions is delayed. Green should mean "normal" - UNIVERSAL. Not red and not yellow. Next you have a cheap clear plastic cover over the power button - what is it even for? Finally, you have the fact that the power button is mounted upside down - Euroweenie style. It's like they designed the perfect power strip and then added a few 'features' to turn it off. Fortunately…

  • Very good price

Good product! - Surge Protector

Great deal on a great product. I recently had to create a "mobile kitchen island" and by attaching it to this I can now move my mobile kitchen anywhere I want. The cable is 20A and is very durable for this price - very good quality. All sockets are 20A, which is also good. There's also a reset button and power button if you need them. The only thing missing is the networking capability, but for the price I wasn't expecting that anyway. However, there seems to be a shipping issue with this…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Only available in Black

Excellent audio rack power center

I ordered the version with 8 outputs in the back and 6 outputs in the front. Don't let the images fool you - one image shows the overall width of the device at 17.5 inches; it's actually 19 inches and fits nicely in a standard 1U rack. My kit did not include rack mounting screws, so be prepared. I like the nice, very long, thick power cord. I don't mind that there are three LEDs on the front that tell you what's going on. Maybe they could get away with one LED for all three functions, and then…

Pros
  • Power supplies and surge protectors
Cons
  • High price

Good device for the price, but there are limitations

A good device for the price, but there are problems. On the one hand, the paint splatter coloring is terrible. I thought my device had bad color stains all over it. Turns out it was on purpose. Besides, the packing box is hardly enough. One of the brackets was dented. The device practically fell out of the box when I received it. Another point was that the mounts are hardly standard. All other components fit in my Startech 6U rack with no problems, except for this one. I had to pull and clamp…

Pros
  • Overvoltage protection
Cons
  • Without automatic

Power goes on in one place and off in ten others

As with many simple mechanical products, I don't have much to say here. Like my stupid title: power goes in one place and out of a bunch of others (if you plug something in there; no lightning). I don't have an opinion or tools to measure the resulting electricity, so I can't rate it for noise or anything like that. Heck, I didn't even use a socket tester to verify that each socket was plugged in properly. I am ashamed. If I do I will try to remember to update the review. I'm sure the connector

Pros
  • Accessories and supplies

  • Ugly packaging
