Review on CyberPower CPS1215RMS: 12 Outlet Basic PDU for 1U Rackmount, 120V/15A, 15ft Power Cord by George Kapoor

A good device for the price, but there are problems. On the one hand, the paint splatter coloring is terrible. I thought my device had bad color stains all over it. Turns out it was on purpose. Besides, the packing box is hardly enough. One of the brackets was dented. The device practically fell out of the box when I received it. Another point was that the mounts are hardly standard. All other components fit in my Startech 6U rack with no problems, except for this one. I had to pull and clamp the screws to get the screws into the cage nut on the back. It's too small for my rack. I'm not thrilled with it either how the SURGE indicator stays on when plugged in. Based on my experience so far, this light will only come on on most devices when it indicates that it has recently detected a power surge and that the device may be damaged, so start replacing it. The front plastic cover on the power button is junk. I can't imagine using it more than 15 times before it breaks. Overall I would buy it again as it is the cheapest "decent" device with these features in this price range. But today it was far from a fully optimized setup. before it breaks off.
