I ordered the version with 8 outputs in the back and 6 outputs in the front. Don't let the images fool you - one image shows the overall width of the device at 17.5 inches; it's actually 19 inches and fits nicely in a standard 1U rack. My kit did not include rack mounting screws, so be prepared. I like the nice, very long, thick power cord. I don't mind that there are three LEDs on the front that tell you what's going on. Maybe they could get away with one LED for all three functions, and then use the extra front panel space for a couple of extra power buttons - that would be really cool. But I'm fine that it only has one power switch, to be able to turn your entire system on and off, that's really all I care about. Also, I like that the 8 rear outlets are spaced far enough apart if you want to plug in a "wall wart" DC adapter or two. The device makes a well-made impression. If it lasts, and I don't see why not, it's really good value compared to what you might spend on a rackmount power center. that's really all I'm interested in.
