Purchased from Anxiety

I've been taking L-Tryptophan for a little over a week, so this review isn't based on long-term use. However, based on how this supplement has helped me so far, I plan to add it to my daily vitamin/supplement regimen. (Disclaimer: I'm not a doctor so I won't be giving medical advice, just sharing my experience in hopes of helping the next person struggling with extreme anxiety.) For years I was scared at first, but it was very mild symptoms that only appear when you are under a lot of stress and it was just a feeling of anxiety. But on March 9th, 2018 I experienced severe anxiety and panic attacks. I had never experienced this in my life so I was terrified and didn't know what to do, I was feeling every symptom possible with anxiety and panic attacks (google the symptoms if you're interested). I started doing thorough research because my symptoms weren't going away and I knew I needed something to relieve my symptoms and I wanted to go the natural route instead of prescribing medications that don't address the actual underlying problem. And then I came across L-Tryptophan. I was hesitant to try it but at the same time I was desperate because at this point my anxiety and panic attacks had been going on for 20 straight days and my body was extremely exhausted from fight-or-flight reactions and lack of sleep. I also started experiencing derealizations, so everything and everything was ten times worse. Although I was scared of taking tryptophan, I started on a very, very low dose (1/32 teaspoon every 4-6 hours) because I didn't want to feel too relaxed (the reason is that I was already feeling free). floating and very light, I tried magnesium and St. John's wort and they relaxed me too much and gave me an anxiety/panic attack). I believe since my body was already depleted, relaxing supplements like this weren't the best option at the time, but I will be introducing magnesium into my diet gradually and steadily. I have to say that tryptophan helped me a lot. My symptoms are slowly but surely disappearing. I'm starting to feel normal and balanced, but I get a little anxious from time to time. But that's a far cry from what I've experienced these 20 days in a row. It's more like I get thoughts of anxiety but not the full symptoms. And when I feel symptoms appearing, I relax and take L-Tryptophan. Other things I've also done that are important to reducing my symptoms are 30-minute walks, three meals a day, good sleep, and teaching my Bible. I'm sure it definitely helps, but I'm sure L-tryptophan played a big part in that. Reading other people's reviews I was curious how you feel after taking it. The only symptom I felt was a feeling of relaxation in my mind rather than my body (which was great because I didn't want anything under my shoulders interfering with me. I didn't have palpitations, lucid dreams, or any difficulties B. for breathing or sleepiness.I highly recommend L Tryptophan, in my opinion it's worth it.Do your research, find out as much as you can, talk to your doctor and make a decision based on your own opinion.
