I understand this is a cheap counter but it doesn't work as expected. Not all graduations on the meter match the graduations you can choose from. This. I want to check the DC voltage on a 12V car battery and the instructions say to select the 25 setting, but read the results on the multimeter on a scale of 50 (because there is NO scale of 25). So my 12v battery is showing 24v. If that's normal, why aren't the instructions warning me that I'm getting double readings? There is also a 500 setting, but NO 500 scale - only a 250 scale. Does this mean my reading is half of what I read on the scale? If I didn't know beforehand that the battery I was testing was 12V, I would probably assume it's 24V as the meter shows. I'm sorry, but I just don't think I can learn to trust this testimony.
