This is the centerpiece of my 29 gallon aquarium. Mine didn't hurt at all and I'm very happy with it. When people walk by, there are always many sighs and comments. The only oddity is the front teeth, no crocodile has such strange vampire teeth. Actually I wanted to break it off, but I decided against it, I didn't want to risk breaking something. My water was not affected in any way and there is no color on it. Definitely my favorite aquarium decoration. Justifies the proud price.
