The pieces of this kit seem to be fairly good quality, and I'm sure if I had a PhD in barn door hanging , it would have been a cinch. However, the instructions are absolute garbage. I read and reread them. I scrutinized the little diagram and tried to use that as a hint as to how low to place the rollers. It was wrong. All that wasted time, and a simple internet search told me the magic number they didn't include ANYWHERE in the instructions is: 2 inches. Two inches is how high the rollers should be about the top of the door.If you do get this kit, here are some tips:1. The size of the kit is ONLY the width of the door - you need to double the kit size to have a track long enough to open your door.2. Ignore the absolutely inscrutable yet somehow super wordy instructions. Look up how to hang a barn door online. It's the same. Ignore all the insane diagrams about where to drill. I think they accidentally substituted some kind of demon summoning ritual for instructions here. Simply cut a 2 inch square of cardboard, and rest the roller on that above the door. Mark the screw positions. Voila!3. Best of luck!
