Great idea that just doesn't work that well. The head-up display is a great feature that every car should have, and it looks like the solution. BUT two main problems make it almost useless: (i) it has no battery and is powered by a cord that plugs into an outlet. Unless you have a unique car with a dash jack like this, you have a chunky cable running down from the top of the instrument cluster to the center console or wherever that AC jack is. Be sure to buy duct tape to prevent the wires from dangling all over the place and get ready to ruin the look of your car's interior. Solution: Put a battery in the damn thing so it can only be plugged in while charging. (ii) it connects your bluetooth so you can't use the car's bluetooth connection. I don't know if you can also connect it to a bluetooth headset or speakerphone, but I'm sure the next buyer should confirm that. Bottom line: if you have a new car, you probably don't want this. Device. Too bad, because unfortunately only a few cars are made with HUDs anymore. Oh, and by the way, one more consideration: anyone who's ever had a speed camera detector knows that if a cop sees this, they'll intentionally torture you. That thing looks exactly like a radar detector. So good luck with that.
