Review on BOXI Front Hood Gas Charged Lift Support Strut Shock Spring Damper for BMW E36 M3 Convertible Coupe by Craig Waters

This is the third set I have bought from this brand - all for different BMWs - and they are excellent value for money. Comment on clips/mounts? Several reviews have commented on their lack of quality. Although the mounting points aren't machined as perfectly as the OEM and the clips aren't as strong, they work well. I spent about 30 seconds with each pair of pliers to adjust the curves and they fit just enough to get the job done. PRO TIP: If your auto diagnostic and repair skills aren't advanced enough to test a simple metal retainer and adjust it to fit properly before installing the part, I suggest you stay away from aftermarket parts and when remain OEM.
