This is a great consumer quality DIY tool. It's easier to use than the old CB finders I used. The training chip requires three passes over the CB array, but I found better accuracy, especially when the target CB is a non-standard half-width, which caused problems with my other seekers. The VersatiTech tool had no problem identifying the correct chain. If you are unfamiliar with these tools, be sure to check out their great video: Orienting the tool while scanning is critical. Reason for 4 stars instead of 5: The power button has to be recessed so that it is not accidentally switched on. This was definitely an issue when storing the device in the pouch that came with the tool. After 3 days in my tool box the battery died because something pushed the button. Bad design. I would like an extra tool pouch to protect the power button.
