Excellent customer service

The original product did not meet my expectations. No specific circuit breaker is highlighted. I contacted the company's customer service department and provided them with a video showing the problem. In response, they sent me a replacement unit along with a test video before shipping. This device worked perfectly. I have recommended this device to my family and friends.

Pros
  • GOLS certificate
Cons
  • Obsolete model

Makes it easier to trace the output back to the switch.

Renovating an old house and an electrical box that wasn't marked where they went. I plugged the transmitting device into an outlet and then walked over to my switch box and waved my wand over the box a few times. Now I know which switch is going off. This made the job an easy task. I also bought a zip tie to be able to attach the transmitter unit to individual wires and trace them to the switch.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Somewhat serviceable

Works well after scanning the panel 3 times as instructed

Works well and was able to identify the correct circuit breaker when I scanned the panel 3 times as instructed. The first 2 scans beeped/flashed on several different circuit breakers while he was saving and calibrating the panel. I found that there are 3 outlets in the upstairs bedrooms of the old house we rent that are not actually grounded. The built in LED flashlight is also very useful and I always have it handy to use as an emergency light.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Not bad

Read customer reviews for helpful information.

After reading customer reviews and product instructions I was able to use it immediately. Very useful information taught me how to get 100% accuracy from the first circuit breaker found. Identified over 20 circuit breakers in our home with 100% identification accuracy. Even helped me identify a hidden subcircuit that was merged with another circuit. Very impressed with this tool, especially for a new homeowner or renter who is not familiar with circuit breaker box labeling.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Empty

You worked great and fast! Easy to use and clear instructions.

I bought a house with a significant number of switches on the control panel that were not clearly labeled and this tool worked great for figuring out which circuits were connected to my outlets! I followed the label instructions to double scan the panel before finding the switch (I just slowly moved the device down from the top of the breaker group and then back up) and after that it was really clear which one The switch on the transmitter was on. If you have a modern dimmer with a row of LEDs…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • I don't remember

Great tool, easy to use but don't put it in your pocket!

This is a great consumer quality DIY tool. It's easier to use than the old CB finders I used. The training chip requires three passes over the CB array, but I found better accuracy, especially when the target CB is a non-standard half-width, which caused problems with my other seekers. The VersatiTech tool had no problem identifying the correct chain. If you are unfamiliar with these tools, be sure to check out their great video: Orienting the tool while scanning is critical. Reason for 4 stars

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Good, but not great

Does what it promises - a few quirks

Does what it promises. Saved me a lot of time. Only caveat, it was a somewhat undecided pair of chains. Gave a weak reading between the two interrupters. I didn't understand why, but disabled these schemes and manually confirmed that they were disabled/hosted. Maybe because the wires are routed in the fuse box, or because of some junction boxes I found in this old house... Found strange things I wasn't expecting. For example, the light in the kitchen is on the main switch in the bathroom and in

Pros
