Bought from Revain. I wish it broke sooner because I would return it if it was possible. I've had the device for about 4 months now. At first I only used it for watching DVDs and accessing Neflix and it worked flawlessly. I finally started watching Blu-ray discs on it and encountered a problem. If Blu-ray Disc playback is paused for more than a few minutes, the TV (Samsung 50' Plasma TV) screen saver will be activated. When I try to play the Blu-ray movie again, it doesn't start. The player behaves like it's just frozen and I have to turn it off and on again, which of course restarts the entire disc. Since the player is connected to the network, it wants to go online and get a preview, which I can't get around. Big. I just lost a good 10 minutes of idle when I just wanted to pause the movie for a few minutes and get back to it. Okay, that was really annoying, but I can work around it. However, the device now has another problem. After around 20-25 minutes of use - whether watching a DVD, Blu-Ray or using the Netflix app - the audio cuts out. If it's Netflix, I'm pretty screwed. If it's a disc I can pause it and then immediately restart it and the sound comes back - maybe anywhere from 1 to 5 minutes - and then it goes away again. If I started using the player in cold weather and then started using it in hot weather, I would suspect that I needed to do something to keep the device cool. However, in the summer it worked perfectly and only now, when it got colder, it started to stutter. This doesn't quite look like an overheating issue. If I only use the TV, I can watch football all day on Sunday without any problems. I ONLY have problems using the BD-C6500, so I know the problem is with the device. I will most likely have to return the device or try to get service from Samsung. It would probably be easier to just return it to Revane. The question is whether we try another similar unit or try to put another player in its place. I REALLY wanted to love this device. Edit: Waited too long for a return and Samsung says the warranty is 1 year for PARTS but only 3 months for SERVICE. Since repairing this device is probably 99% maintenance, it's probably not worth repairing. I think I'll throw that thing away and buy something else. Overall I got good use of the product for about 4 months (maximum) before it started to fail. Right now the audio cuts out between 10 and 15 times EVERY MOVIE. I returned my old Sony DVD player and ROKU for Netflix and have had no problems. I'm using the same HDMI cable and input for surround sound, so the problem is definitely with the BD-C6500. I'm not very happy with how it turned out.
