Fit as expected - I'm about 100 pounds and chose the small, my husband is about 600 pounds and chose XXL. They're cool, soft, and thin (like a t-shirt), just like the longer pants. Side pockets make them more useful than women's slacks. We both have shorts that hit a few inches above the knee.
