Review on G Technology 0G04093 G RAID Removable Thunderbolt by Roy Boone

I have the 12TB model to run FCPX on a 2012 Macbook Pro. I have a 1080p workflow. The drive has Thunderbolt2 (TB2) and USB3 connectors. I had to look for this specific model as the TB2/USB3 combo is less common. I've spent 7 months with him so far. No problem. Keep the box, it is convenient to carry. My average Thunderbolt2 transfer rate is 422 MB/s. Haven't tested the USB3 speeds yet, but I'm glad I have it so I can connect it to a USB-only system. Simple design, easy to change discs. Quiet enough to stay close and not disturb me while I edit. Comes with a Thunderbolt cable. 4K content editors might want something faster if you're not using proxy media. Then everything will be fine. For me this is a great ride! Very happy with it.
