It went where I wanted to clean and cleaned pretty well.
The round rod is 1/4" in diameter and approximately 10" long. The fabric on the handle worked for what I wanted to do - clean out the inner air intakes (just behind the wings) for a 24/7 fan. Turned off the fan, cleaned the air intakes (only 5 minutes?) and restarted the fan. No problem. I found another use for them. I have a dryer with narrow slits on the air intake. It *just* fit between the slots and I was able to clean each one fairly well, which was next to impossible before.
