This tool is painful to use. The handle is very wide and difficult to squeeze. When the compression is done, the arm hurts from the impact. After a few hundred staples, this is incredibly annoying, up to the point of injuring your hand, even with a glove. Unfortunately I don't know of a better way. I don't know why this tool doesn't keep up with the times. Why there isn't a newer, professional wire stapler with a smooth trigger like standard 1/2 inch staplers like the Duo Fast CS5000 at any price baffles me. I'll keep using this for now.
