Excellent CAT6 Ethernet stapler

Considering the relative thickness of the CAT6 cable (and lack of desire to squeeze/impact the signal) this stapler is a dream. It's very strong, easy to load, requires little force to assemble and has great cable notch/routing (after spending a full day plugging ethernet into our attic, securing the cable with a clamp would have been an issue) . Nightmare). Insulated struts add significant height, so be aware that the struts will not line up perfectly with the cable itself.

Great Stapler: Power & Hand Tools

This is a quality tool that does a great job of securing Ethernet cables and other types. Damage, except for a few small scratches on the metal surface. It requires quite a bit of grip strength to activate. So if you are a woman or an old man (like me), you may have trouble using it in awkward situations. I would recommend using 1/4" to 5/16" terminals for Cat6 and Cat7 cables instead of 5/16" to 5/16" terminals unless you want the cable to be slides easily through the main product.

Wish it was better done

This tool is painful to use. The handle is very wide and difficult to squeeze. When the compression is done, the arm hurts from the impact. After a few hundred staples, this is incredibly annoying, up to the point of injuring your hand, even with a glove. Unfortunately I don't know of a better way. I don't know why this tool doesn't keep up with the times. Why there isn't a newer, professional wire stapler with a smooth trigger like standard 1/2 inch staplers like the Duo Fast CS5000 at any…

upset. The stapler has problems with solid pine. (see picture)

I have an Arrow stapler and it's great. to penetrate the raw pine test board. I assume if you staple drywall or thin molding it will work fine? I would be happier if the staples weren't bent. Then I could hit her with a hammer. I'm tempted to think that on a rep it might be easier to just hold the staples in place with needle nose pliers, hammer them in, and skip the stapler altogether.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Quality

As with any Arrow product, you'll find it to be absolutely superb in quality and impeccable workmanship. Research and development has put a lot of time into this clip to fine-tune it to the second for different applications and there have been no problems. Excellent delivery system and installation system for it and I cannot say enough good things about this product. If you have something to install and are worried about shorted wires, then this option is for you. Worth the investment. I have…

  • Big and Chunky

I searched Google Chrome for the best staplers and read the tool reviews website. For some reason it advertised this as one and had great reviews. I agree, this is a very well made cable fastening gun. It uses clips with a plastic end that holds the wires but doesn't push the clip to the surface. - There is a gap for the wire so it doesn't stick as deep and hard as a stapler. I can pull them right out of the wood with my fingers. Now I have it and will keep it to add to my toolbox, but I've…

Excellent tool for routing coax, network and similar sized cables

This tool is reliable and works flawlessly. I've used it to network my whole house and never had a problem. I used Arrow Fastener 591189 Original T59 Insulated Clear 5/16" x 5/16" staples, staples per box of 300 and they worked great with this network cable tack tool. I think smaller 1/4" x 1/4" stands might work a little better, but I could only find them in black. One of the other reviews I read says the staples don't retract fully and mine has no gap at all. Pros
  • One year trial version
Cons
  • Available in white only

Works as intended. I used 6mm x 6mm staples to fasten a very thick phone cord (7/32") and it fit a little loosely, although another poster claimed the size only fit 3/16" or less at the time , as the packaging says "up to 1/4 inch". I ended up not liking the look of the slack wire and bulky clips and removed most of those T59 clips from the wall and used another pistol, an Acme, instead 37AC with 37AC brackets to hold the wire These larger AV brackets were even looser but so thin that they…
