97 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummings Turbo Diesel. It would take 5 to 6 plants to get back to work even after dismantling, cleaning and rebuilding. I ordered this starter as a replacement. A WHOLE NEW WORLD. The starter cranks the engine halfway or one revolution. Immediate and extreme increase in boot time. Two bad comments that can only be limited by my experience, so I won't affect my overall score. The instructions and box were damaged by rebar piercing, and the pins on the starter had trouble staying in place when the positive and negative cables were tightened. This rotated the negative element enough to touch the blown positive fuses. So know that negativity can only go so far. Except for this amazing starter. Highly recommended
