Pros: 1. cheap 2. easy to use 3. mobility possible with battery 4. resolution or print quality better than expected. High-end model, in my case PT-9800PCN. Owned 4 PT-9800PCN printers for about 5 years, now two of them refuse to work. I have many older labels made with the PT-9800PCN using Brother's P-touch Editor software and just need a cheap label to print those non-essential labels, so I bought this model. I'm wrong, this new budget PT-P700 printer doesn't do the job, some labels (especially those with a tiny barcode) are guaranteed to mess up the layout, so I ended up not being able to use this printer at all. Summary: For basic use or basic label printing, this is a good entry-level label printer; However, if you have created labels on high quality label printers and want to reuse those labels, print them with this printer, even if you lower your print quality expectations, this label printer will ruin them and you will not get result prints as originally designed/represented on them labels. So I think I should buy my brother PT-P950NW to replace my dead PT-9800PCN.
