You might not need this every day, but if you do need one of these you'll be glad you have it. As a shade tree mechanic I have used it to tighten a bolt on a shock absorber - if you are familiar with shock absorbers you know that there is a strut sticking out and it is difficult to hold the strut and tighten the nut efficiently. An unexpected use that made me love them even more was this: I took the spark plug connector off the engine and one of the connectors/wires got stuck in such a way that the wire broke, the connector snapped and I was left with the electrics. Connection from the spark plug wire attached to the spark plug. This connection extends beyond any deep socket you use, preventing you from inserting a ratchet into the socket opening. This tool saved the day. This ONE use made the purchase worthwhile for me.
