Review on 🔌 Dorman 911-501 OE Solutions Purge Valve for Vapor Canister, Black by Carlos Reyes

Excellent replacement part. My 1998 Nissan 200SX raced P1440 and P1448 for ten years. Fortunately, it always worked in time to pass inspection. But lately it's been going on and on for almost two years; This time without delay. After reading the forums I decided to pull out the old valve. It's easier than you might expect. I put the rear wheel on a stand, but some of this can also be seen when the car is on the ground. I tried powering the old valve and it didn't do anything - a pretty good sign that it's bad. A new part would cost about twice as much at auto parts stores -- $108 plus tax. Since there was no rush, I waited two days for Revane to deliver. Two bolts later it was installed and two days later the Check Engine light came on for the first time in almost two years. It's literally a five minute job, assuming you can remove the screws (others have commented on this; mine popped right out). Great part and did what it was supposed to for half the price the auto parts stores wanted.
