Perfect fit, fit and function

Perfect fit, fit and function. Maxi 1998. Replaced a defective unit that had given me intermittent heartburn for several months.

Wrong part for exhaust and emissions

Canister vent valve (normally open) was sent when the listing states and shows a canister vent valve (normally closed). Plugs come in different sizes.

  • Durable finish
Cons
  • I will add later

Works great, looks very real, bought it to disable.

Works great, looks very real, bought this to disable the code on a '98 Nissan Sentra. Installed it and the cleared code was taken to the emissions inspection center and gone through so far and so far no light has come on.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Little things

2001 Xterra 0450 Code Fix

This valve is located above the spare tire on a 2001 Xterra. The old one was corroded by years of road salt etc. With some new rubber lines, I had to remove the canister, damaging the hardened rubber in the process.

Pros
  • Dope ๐Ÿ”ฅ
Cons
  • Volume

This product fits my 1999 Nissan Maxima GLE.

I had a P0443 code that set my service engine on fire. Soon my 99 Maximagle caught fire and it was an exact replacement and it took me about 30 minutes to fix a bad one replace a part. I bought it used for over 30โ‚ฌ and it looks like new and works perfectly.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Hard to tell

worth your money!

How the zone wanted $150 for this valve. I bought it here for less than $40. I had to change the tip, but otherwise everything went perfectly! See attached pictures for differences between new and stock valves. I just drilled a large hole in my flushing canister for the tip to fit. It worked perfectly!

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Nothing here

Fits Frontier 98 2WD 4 cylinder trucks. Precise bearing change.

Installed on my Frontier 98 2WD 4 cylinder manual transmission. Exactly replaces stock. Installs in about 15 minutes with a Phillips and flathead screwdriver. I drove it around the neighborhood and everything seems to be fine with the truck again. If this valve gets stuck open/closed an engine check code will be issued and your acceleration and fuel economy will suffer badly! It's amazing what a difference after the exchange. $62 well spent in my opinion.

Excellent replacement part

Excellent replacement part. My 1998 Nissan 200SX raced P1440 and P1448 for ten years. Fortunately, it always worked in time to pass inspection. But lately it's been going on and on for almost two years; This time without delay. After reading the forums I decided to pull out the old valve. It's easier than you might expect. I put the rear wheel on a stand, but some of this can also be seen when the car is on the ground. I tried powering the old valve and it didn't do anything - a pretty goodโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Upgrades available
