This is a nice set of gloves. My son has a punching bag hanging in the garage, and I got these to see how they'd work out (haha). They're good gloves for bag work.They're filled with gel. Theoretically that will hold up over the long term better than foam. I guess we will have to see!Can it absorb a hard punch? Don't ask me, I'm the 57-year-old mom! But my son can hit pretty hard (I know from observation) and he says these gloves are good.The wrist elastic and the Velcro give you a good fit.There is more flexibility to the thumb so you can tuck your thumb if you want.The black/red/white looks sharp. You will look very (rhymes with mad-pass) with these.The only negative I have to add is that the sizing is a little off. They're really medium(regular), though listed as large. Be aware of that if you order some.
