Think twice before you buy-the product is disgusting.

Chose in the store from three. I immediately felt the work of the stabilizer, in a dimly lit store it gave a stable picture. Then there were only disappointments. Perhaps it should only be used on FF. I took it to the D90, with the aim of a phased transition to FF. I don’t know yet whether this lens can be rehabilitated on the D800, but on the D90 it’s not very sharp, the picture is uninteresting. With 24-70 2.8 - on the same D90 it simply cannot be compared, these are different lenses, both in the picture and in sharpness. 24-120 has neither. And the price is definitely not worth the money. Continued to use with D800, what to say? All the same, only more) I used this lens for half a year, no words - bad! I was on a trip for 2 months, 90% of the shots taken with this lens are not acceptable. The main problem is not sharp. Both near and far. On the d800 it will feel like you are still on the D90. I used 16-35 f 4, 50 f1.4, and even 70-300, everything is much better. Worn out, sold, and despite the criticism took 24-70. There are no comparisons! Heaven and earth.

Pros
  • VR Stabilizer
Cons
  • Not sharp! Sluggish picture. Slow autofocus. Heavy. The price is very high.

With its pros. Universal. The focus range is excellent. No soap, I was pleased with the quick-tenacious autofocus. Cons below: Artistry at the whale level. Heavy for travel.
